ONLINE PATHOLOGY
Results: SafirLIS Connect (Web-Access to reports)
SafirLIS Connect is another of IHS’ I.T. initiatives to keep it at the forefront of private sector pathology. It is web-access software designed to allow clients to securely view their reports (including images) on-line from any PC with internet access and also check on progress of samples which have been sent to the laboratory.
If required the client can also print report copies on demand to a local printer. By contacting IHS and requesting access the client is issued a User I.D. and Password by IHS’ Information Systems Administrator. The only PC system requirements are that the terminal has internet browser software (e.g. Microsoft Internet Explorer) and Adobe Reader installed.
